Dr. Jordan Zapinski
Owner,
Physical Therapist
Jordan first fell in love with the field of physical therapy during his senior year at Armada High School where he knew he wanted to enter the medical field and spent time shadowing at a local outpatient clinic. Jordan found that physical therapy was the perfect fit for him due to the amount of time that is spent with the patients, the opportunity to help optimize an individual’s function, and improve their quality of life. After entering the field, Jordan quickly realized that he wanted to open his own clinic and create an environment in which everyone feels comfortable as they progress from injury/ailment to wellness. Jordan and his wife Cyrsten opened Freedom Physical Therapy & Wellness in January 2023, with the goal in mind that every patient receives one-on-one care with a doctor of physical therapy.
Jordan’s professional interests include general orthopedics, spinal and extremity care, sports injuries, geriatric rehabilitation and post-operative care.
Jordan has additional certifications in Vestibular Vertigo Rehabilitation, Dry Needling, Functional Golf Specialist Program, Blood Flow Restriction Training, and Applied Functional Science.

In his free time, Jordan enjoys woodworking and watching sports. He is a diehard Detroit Lions fan. Jordan loves to travel and some of his favorite places that he has visited are Italy, Punta Cana, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Alaska, and Tennessee.

Cyrsten Zapinski
Owner
Cyrsten started out in the education field as an Early Childhood Educator and Kindergarten Teacher. After leaving the education field, she entered into the field of physical therapy. She began working in the front office of an outpatient physical therapy clinic. Cyrsten was quickly promoted to Office Manager of the clinic. There, she learned all the ins and outs including physical therapy insurance benefits, pre-authorizations, scheduling, managing patients' plan of care, running and analyzing clinic statistics reports, and much more.
When Jordan decided to open his own clinic, she joined him to manage the front office of this new venture. Now Cyrsten manages our medical billing, human resources, marketing, social media, website, accounting, and more!

In her free time, Cyrsten enjoys traveling, attending Detroit Lions games (Cyrsten and Jordan are Lions season ticket holders) and golfing!

Dr. Haley Essenburg
Physical Therapist
Haley knew she wanted to become a physical therapist when she tore her ACL while playing basketball in high school & had to go through months of physical therapy herself. After shadowing and volunteering many hours in different physical therapy settings, Haley fell in love with the physical therapy world and the time she got to spend with each patient. She loved having the ability to help others get their function back and being able to make a difference in someone's life.
Haley's professional interests are all aspects of orthopedic care, post- operative care, and geriatric rehabilitation. Haley has additional certifications in blood flow restriction.
In her free time, Haley enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going up north, and snowmobiling.

Karsyn always knew she wanted to go into the medical field. After tearing her ACL playing high school basketball and going through months of physical therapy herself, she knew physical therapy was where she wanted to be.

Right out of high school she worked as a technician at an outpatient clinic and found her passion. She enjoys connecting with patients while watching their functional levels improve from day one to discharge, and is honored to be a part of their care.

Karsyn’s professional interests include orthopedic care, geriatric rehabilitation, post-operative care, and sports injuries.
​
In her free time, Karsyn enjoys hanging out with her family and friends, golfing, watching sports, and reading books.
